About Birdflower Farm

Birdflower Farm is located in Virgil, Illinois, on our family farm. It includes a renovated 1890s farmhouse, an orchard, a 1/2 acre of prairie, and more flowers every season! With 10 acres of fertile farmland, we have room to grow! We are not just adding more cut flowers, we love adding to our display fields as well. This Spring, we are adding an expansion to the wildflower patch, and the sunflower field is different every year. We are very proud of our native prairie that is home to hundreds of native plants, and gives our pollinators and wildlife at true sanctuary. We also continue to add more perennials to the fields, along with flowering shrubs. Visit the farm for a floral workshop or farm tour to see it all! Yoga classes were full of nature loving yogis, and people trying new things. Come join us this season!

Here at Birdflower farm, we use sustainable practices from seed to harvest, ensuring the highest quality and longest vase life. Our flowers are cut, conditioned, bunched and sold usually in just one day! Our flowers are field grown, and we never use synthetic fertilizers or pesticides. Natural practices are used from seed to harvest on all of our flowers and produce. Birdflower blooms are the perfect addition to your table, entree, event, or workplace!

Our mission is to bring fresh flowers to our Community and to create a welcoming space to gather and learn about sustainable agriculture. Join us this season on a tour, at a workshop, or at market!
